The most recognized Action Sports figure in the world, Tony Hawk, was not only one of the most famous skateboarders of all time, but was also an inspiration to everyone, particularly skaters and athletes, through his brave actions in the sport and his dedication to skateboarding and his tricks which made him bring legitimacy and respectability to skateboarding.

Tony knew that to make it in skateboarding, you had to do impressive tricks that were better than the competition to stand out. So he worked and tried tricks that were thought to be impossible at the time. Hawk accomplished some of the biggest and scariest tricks in the history of skateboarding. Although the tricks were high risk and unthinkable for others, Tony pushed his own limits and managed to land these unthinkable tricks.

While nobody else was brave enough at the time to attempt the tricks that Tony did, Tony landed the tricks that nobody could even imagine doing and proved to everyone that if you work hard at something, you can do the unthinkable. As a child, Tony was known to be a troublemaker, disturbing his babysitters, teachers, and even his parents. He was first introduced to skating by his elder brother Steve at the age of eight when he brought him home a used fiberglass skateboard.

Hawks is currently married to his loving wife Catherine Goodman. However, he has been married and divorced several times. InTony married Cindy Dunbar and soon had a son named Riley, a renowned professional skateboarder.
