Then Dave meets a man who designs exercise equipment with a purpose. Dave visits a festival where the participants have graduated from potato cannons to heavy artillery; pumpkins. As if that's not enough bang Dave meets some folks who like shooting at explosive targets.

Dave's last guest insists it's time for Olympic juggling. A secret society operating untested, unlicensed vehicles at maximum speed and it's perfectly legal; that's gravity racing and Dave is ready for a go. Then Dave, ex-marine and experienced hunter, is back in school learning to hunt with birds. And for this he needs a license? Then, fresh from the pumpkin chucking competition Dave visits some folks using really dangerous ammo; fruitcakes.

He was fourth eliminated in the first season after losing in a head-to-head competition to Dat Phanthe eventual winner of Last Comic Standing season 1. He was first runner-up in the third season. On the show he was known for his great friendship with Rich Voswith whom he was seen taking baths and ironing. Also notable was the "infamous" rat hunt where Dave caught a rat.

He also has made guest appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno [ 5 ] and was in the movie Los Enchiladas as the bread delivery guy.
